Filling, Care and Maintenance

For the safety of children and in order to comply with Australian standards, the zipper head has intentionally been removed. Please refer to the warning label attached to the chair for instructions on how to release the zip. 

 

 

 

   

Filling (dependant on your desired look/comfort)

Mini Mod: between 100 - 150 litres

Midi Mod: between 200 - 250 litres

Mod Sofa: approximately 400 - 450 litres

  

Your Mod is best filled by two people in an enclosed and ventilated space such as a dry (empty and plugged!) bathtub.

   

We suggest using a funnel (made from lightweight cardboard or other) to pour the filling in to the opening.

  

Please be aware, there is an internal "baffle" sewn inside the Mod that provides support for the filling to remain in place. When filling your Mod use your hands to manoeuvre the filling around the baffle edges and up into the backrest. The base can then be filled (we suggest using a jug to pour the filling in once the chair is almost full) prior to securely closing the zipper.

 

 

   

Deluxe + Snow Fabric: Spot clean only recommended

Standard + Stone Fabric: Cold, gentle machine washable

Velvet + Boucle Fabric: Spot clean only, vacuum using low suction and appropriate attachment. Professional cleaning recommended.
